Healthy Protein Cinnamon Rolls!


When Cinnamon Rolls are healthy but DON'T TASTE LIKE IT...

You can't help but drool over these bad boys! What if I told you that these healthy cinnamon rolls were not only easy but also LOW SUGAR, FULL OF PROTEIN, VITAMINS & MINERALS?

You’d love me forever and ever, right?

INGREDIENTS

Dough Ingredients: Icing Ingredients:

2 cups of oat flour 1 oz greek yogurt

2 scoops vanilla protein powder 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 1/4 tsp baking powder Unsweetened Almond Milk

1/4 tsp salt Dash of vanilla

4 tsp honey

2 tbs unsweetened applesauce Filling Ingredients

8 tsp liquid egg whites 1/4 sugar free syrup

1/2 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. For the dough, mix dry ingredients together first then add in wet ingredients. Mixture will be crumbly.

  3. Knead together until you get a stiff dough.

  4. Roll dough on floured surface into a long rectangle.

  5. Spread filling mixture onto dough.

  6. Starting from the long end of the rectangle, roll dough into a long tube.

  7. Cut roll into 16 slices.

  8. Place rolls on greased baking dish, evenly spaced.

  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

  10. Meanwhile, mix together icing ingredients with a mixer. Add enough almond milk to get the desired consistency you want.

  11. Remove cinnamon rolls from oven, drizzle with icing.
