Hi I'm Sarah! 


          I’m a busy mom of 2 who’s motivated to stay fit and share that motivation with others!  I’ve always been this healthy little nutcase and it started way back in the 3rd grade when I signed up for U13 Soccer.  My coach stressed the importance of exercising and eating healthy, so I took his word for it. I gave up ALL soda/junk food and became a runner. My parents were shocked to say the least!  ;) I made a commitment to myself to live a healthy lifestyle from there on out, and without a doubt, I’ve kept that promise: I wasn’t a chunky high schooler, I didn’t gain the “freshmen 15” and I only gained baby weight (25lbs) during my pregnancy!  My days of playing club soccer earned me a scholarship and a starting position on a D1 NCAA Collegiate Women's Soccer team at Stephen F. Austin State University where I became the Team Captain and helped lead the team to the NCAA Division Championship!  It was a very rewarding accomplishment!  After graduating college, I went into the corporate world, but never once gave up my love for health and fitness.  I joined the local gym, went EVERY day, tried EVERY class, and used EVERY machine.  It became my home away from home.  I signed up for weekend runs; 5Ks to ½ Marathons, Fun Runs to Competitive races.  I even joined a small intramural co-ed soccer team that played pick-up games on weeknights.  Ironically, I met my future husband that summer on the beach in my bikini – thank goodness I had been working out!

          ​I fell in love, married the man of my dreams and have been following him around this beautiful country for last 8 years. He’s an officer/helo pilot in the Coast Guard, which also makes us a military family. We both share a passion for working out and being fit, which makes for a nice competitive partnership!  He is the best workout buddy and pushes me to an even higher fitness level. 


          When my first child, Emma, was born, I struggled with finding the time each day to commit to my fitness and health goals.  She was an emergency c-section delivery.  The surgery was very intense and a major recovery for me.  I couldn’t do anything; I couldn’t even lift my new little baby, let alone a weight!  From late night wakings to early morning feedings, it was tough being a new mom and working 24/7 for someone other than yourself. Finding the time to exercise and stay healthy was a real challenge for me. I pretty much gave up on the gym – it just wasn’t working for me and I didn’t have the time to go.  I instead tried bringing the workouts to me…I googled “at-home fitness” to see what was out there.  I dabbled in On Demand’s FitTV with Jillian Michaels…not challengeing enough, used for about 4 months and LOVED IT, but didn’t see the results I wanted. That’s when I was introduced to Beachbody and their at-home fitness programs.  My friend turned me on to a program called Les Mills Pump and a nutritional shake called Shakeology.  Well, let’s just say it’s nearly 5 years later and I STILL haven't set foot in a gym (which is HUGE for me)!  Two rounds of the 90-day Pump program and I was a complete believer in working out from home, on my time.  We built a home gym in our garage, bought a set of dumbbells and some other basic equipment and took turns getting a workout in!  As for maintaining a healthy diet, I've always tried to eat as clean and fresh as possible.  Now that I'm a stay-at-home-mom, I do find myself in the kitchen more often trying out new recipes when I can.  But, being an "on-the-go" mommy means it's hard to find time to stop and make lunch or even remember to eat breakfast!  That's where Shakeology has saved my life!!!  I've been drinking Shakeology for 5 years now, and it's amazing how much difference one little shake, once a day, can really make!


          Soon after my maternity leave ended, I decided to make it official, quit my corporate job, and become a stay-at-home-mom with Emma.  I was ready to embark on my true passion of health and fitness.  I became a Personal Fitness and Nutrition Coach with Beachbody about 5 years ago, in hopes of inspiring and motivating others to get fit and lead a healthy lifestyle just like me! I get to do two of my favorite things: be a mommy and be healthy…I’m blessed!! My inspiration comes from sharing my success with others and getting them motivated to achieve their own fitness goals with my support. If I can make a difference in someone's life; help him or her recognize & reach their goals, or even just guide them to their WHY, it truly makes my day!  

Linking arms with Team Beachbody has been an amazing journey for me, creating friendships & freedom I never imagined. I love working out from home, using their premium nutrition supplements and supporting others to have similar success. I am a 4X Elite coach within the company, and is currently ranked in the top 100 out of 450,000 coaches.
