I workout at home to get to experience these moments and because let’s face it, getting out of the house with a toddler and an 8 year old is a nightmare. And I workout to show my kids that exercise is something we all ‘get’ to do not something we ‘have’ to do. Yep, I use to be a gym rat but that changed quickly when little boy smiles became the best workout reward ❤️

Abs are probably my favorite muscle to train (besides legs). I recently upped my game by adding weights to my ab workouts. I call these the "weighted plank & push" and the “weighted traveler”. In a plank position, grab the weight and slide it to one side, plank walk and do one push-up. Then slide weight in other direction, plank walk back and a push-up. Do that for 1 minute.
