A smile is worth a thousand words, right!?
Well mine literally is… after 3 years of braces, retainers, mouth-guards and now a needed gum-grafting surgery! And if you know me, or have been following me for any time now, you know that I love to take care of my teeth and keep them clean & healthy. I even still wear my retainers EVERY night! (drives my hubby bonkers LOL!)
So, when Smile Brilliant reached out to me to team up and try one of their new products – the cariPRO Ultrasonic Toothbrush, I was ecstatic to say YES!! Ironically enough, I was just about to purchase a new electronic toothbrush system for my husband and I for Christmas, so it was perfect timing!
I have used a Sonicare ultrasonic toothbrush before in the past, and was happy with the results, but have since gone back to store-bought toothbrushes. I have receding gum lines and sensitive teeth, so my dentists have always recommended gentle brushing and extra soft bristles. But, after using the cariPRO toothbrush for about 2 weeks now, I’m completely obsessed! My mouth feels so clean afterwards and my teeth seriously feel like I just left the dentist’s office from an actual cleaning! Here’s a few things I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ABOUT IT:
There are 5 brushing modes: Clean, White, Massage, Gum Care, and Sensitive. Each brushing mode is designed to operate for 2 minutes, with brief pauses between each 30-second brush. That pause tells you to move to a different quadrant of the mouth (4 total). I have used all 5 brushing modes, and they all work true to what they are supposed to do. I really liked the sensitive mode best, followed by the whitening mode, which does brush a little firmer to help remove & polish surface coffee/wine stains, especially on the backs of my teeth – yes I’m guilty of drinking both often.
A rubber tongue scrub is included on the back of the electric toothbrush head!

As someone who has to consciously pay attention to how hard I brush, I love that this toothbrush does all the work for you. You just gently hold it up to your teeth and it does all the work, no brushing necessary on your part. It even tells you when to switch the other sides of your mouth.
