Spend money on myself. Take time away from my kids. Need time to relax. Make an effort to make myself happy.
I thought that being a mom meant I had to give up everything to "do it all" for my kids. And somehow I always ended up last on that list.
And then I realized that ONLY when my cup is full, can my family benefit from that overflow.
Because you can't pour from an empty cup.
So do the things that are BEST for you without guilt or judgment because that positive overflow (**taking care of yourself first) is the true way to bring your best self to the table every. damn. day.
