I’m a woman of hustle.
I’m a 3 on the enneagram; hard work and achievements bring me a lot of joy. But lately I’ve been listening to what God has for me and really surrendering to what he’s telling me to do: slow down, let go of control and let him take the lead.
It’s been really hard for me to grasp because I’m a person all about chasing goals and achieving them and it’s always served me well. But I've come to realize there’s more glory in doing what he’s leading me to do. And right now that’s listening.
When I listen in those quiet moments, he’s telling me to be more present. To be intentional with my schedule and be with my kids without distraction. To spend more time learning, laughing, just breathing. And today that looks like coffee at the park with my son.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still crushing it with work. Still helping people achieve spectacular things, but I’m learning to have more balance and give more glory & focus to God and less on my own abilities.
I can only do so much alone, but with Him, I’ll achieve more than I ever thought possible.
