Are you holding yourself accountable?

ac·count·abil·i·ty - noun \ə-ˌkau̇n-tə-ˈbi-lə-tē\::: an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions.

We use the term “hold yourself accountable” quite often. Accountability in and of itself says you are held to a standard, and will face consequences associated with not meeting it. YOU are held to the standard; YOU are liable for the decisions you make. Hard work is, well, hard work. When you take 100 percent responsibility for holding yourself accountable, your performance will improve, your relationships will flourish, your market value will soar, people’s respect for you will skyrocket, you will be a great example for others to follow, and your self-esteem will grow. I'll admit that I got a little off track this weekend with my diet and workouts (I was out of town at my cousin's wedding), but I know what Personal Accountability means to me. It means I don't let myself or others down. It means that my personal commitment and the support of a team help me to reach my fitness as well as my life goals! Today, I put in the extra time to "makeup" my missed workouts from this weekend. Body Beast back/bis and legs. It was INSANE, but I loved it.
