Drink This, Not THAT!

How many of you are GUILTY of downing one of these after a workout? I know I was!!! As a college soccer player, we needed the electrolytes after running around the field for 90 minutes, sweating our ponytails off in the East Texas heat! However, unless you've been exercising strenuously for an hour or more in the heat or sweating A LOT, these drinks really aren't necessary. All they do is use up most of the calories you just burned off - 125 calories per 20 ounce bottle! #drinkwater #hydrate Try this TIP instead: Freeze your water bottles before your workouts so they'll be icy cold when you're ready down it. Ice cold water tastes sooooo good!
